About the Position
Old Mission is looking for a Options Sales Trader to join the Options team in our Chicago headquarters. The ideal candidate will thoroughly understand, monitor, and manage client order flow in standard and FLEX listed options, ensuring accurate and timely execution while adhering to applicable exchange rules and crossing mechanisms. They will develop, maintain, and continuously improve sales trading workflows, while owning the end-to-end process for timely trade settlement in close collaboration with clearing firms and internal middle office teams. The role also requires maintaining and deepening existing relationships with institutional clients, brokers, clearing firms, and fintech vendors, as well as generating and disseminating trade recaps and confirmations. The candidate will also be expected to assist with ad hoc projects as needed.
Required Skills
- 1-7 years of experience in a sales trading or operations role with the finance industry, options preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study
- Knowledge and experience using Python, OMS products, and MS Office products (Excel, VBA is a plus)
- Knowledge of options theory
- Excellent verbal written communication skills
- Series 7 required

Base Salary Range
$100,000 - $200,000 - Salaries are based on numerous factors such as skills, experience, and education. Our compensation package also includes a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits program for full-time employees. For more information, reach out to your recruiter.
